Dedicated to defending the security clearances of military, contractors, and federal employees nationwide.
She has litigated in numerous practice areas but found her passion in security clearance law. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Asya moved to Florida, where she graduated from Florida State University. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida.
Asya can be described as having a true passion for the law.
She has favorably adjudicated numerous cases, including Statement of Reasons, Yankee White investigations, administrative hearings, and appeals. Asya prides herself on helping clients successfully adjudicate their security clearance matters in an efficient, skillful, and practical way.
Asya has provided services to clients in numerous states, including California, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Texas, and her home state of Florida. Security clearance matters require special attention and a high level of expertise that other attorneys simply do not have.
After litigating across numerous practice areas, Asya Hogue found her true calling in the complex world of National Security Law. She recognized a critical gap in the legal field: while many attorneys handle general employment disputes, very few possess the technical expertise required to navigate the federal government’s rigorous Adjudicative Guidelines. Driven by a passion for protecting the livelihoods of those who serve our country, she founded Security Clearance Professionals to ensure that military members, federal employees, and defense contractors have an elite advocate in their corner.
Growing up in Georgia and building her career in Jacksonville, Florida, Asya witnessed firsthand the immense pressure faced by personnel at NAS Jacksonville, NS Mayport, and beyond. She saw how a single financial misstep or a misunderstood past event could jeopardize a decade of service. This inspired her mission to move beyond "general" legal aid and provide a highly personalized, vigorous defense that treats every Statement of Reasons (SOR) and DOHA hearing as a fight for a client’s future.
Today, the firm is defined by a commitment to Client-First Litigation. We believe that your case should be handled by an experienced attorney, not passed off to a paralegal. By combining a deep understanding of the "Whole Person" concept with a relentless work ethic, Asya Hogue has successfully mitigated countless security concerns—helping clients across the nation retain their clearances and continue their vital work in national security.
